Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and experienced E-Commerce Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce solutions. As an expert in this role, you will work closely with product, development, and business teams to architect robust e-commerce platforms that drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
You will be responsible for setting technical direction, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring that solutions align with business goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end e-commerce solutions across platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom-built systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
- Define best practices and standards for e-commerce platform development, integration, and deployment.
- Lead technical evaluations, technology selection, and vendor assessments.
- Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and maintainable.
- Oversee integration with payment gateways, third-party services, and marketing automation tools.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct architectural reviews and code audits to maintain quality and consistency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development for e-commerce initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce platform architecture and development.
- Strong expertise in platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or enterprise e-commerce systems.
- Deep understanding of web technologies, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and high-availability e-commerce architectures.
- Familiarity with payment systems, order management, inventory, and customer data platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical teams and drive complex projects to successful completion.
