Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Entry-Level Cybersecurity Analyst to join our QA & Security team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals at the beginning of their cybersecurity career who are passionate about safeguarding digital infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting threat prevention strategies.
As a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will assist in monitoring security systems, conducting basic investigations, and contributing to the organization’s overall security posture under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and system activity to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats.
- Assist in managing endpoint protection, firewall rules, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Help conduct vulnerability assessments and basic penetration tests using industry-standard tools.
- Support the review and analysis of security logs, alerts, and incidents.
- Assist in maintaining documentation for security procedures, incidents, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to apply security updates and patches.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and tools.
- Participate in security awareness and training programs for internal teams.
Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and common threats.
- Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, or similar.
- Understanding of firewalls, antivirus systems, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and a willingness to learn.
