Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced B2B E-Commerce Consultant to guide and optimize our business-to-business e-commerce strategies and platforms. As an expert consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement best practices that drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the buyer experience in the B2B space.
You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to help transform and elevate our B2B e-commerce operations, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current B2B e-commerce platforms, workflows, and technologies to identify improvement areas.
- Develop comprehensive B2B e-commerce strategies that align with business objectives.
- Advise on the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and user-friendly B2B e-commerce solutions.
- Guide integration of complex pricing models, bulk ordering, account management, and contract negotiations within e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, IT, and product teams to optimize the end-to-end B2B customer journey.
- Lead vendor selection and management for e-commerce tools and third-party integrations.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to internal teams.
- Monitor and analyze B2B e-commerce performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies impacting B2B commerce.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business , IT, E-Commerce, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B e-commerce consulting, strategy, or solution architecture.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, buyer behavior, and procurement processes.
- Expertise with e-commerce platforms commonly used in B2B contexts (e.g., Magento Commerce, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce B2B, or custom solutions).
- Proficiency in integration with ERP, CRM, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
